Meet Faith
Faith King was born on March 14th to the Rev. Dr. Brian D. King Sr. and Cynthia King. She is the youngest of six children. Faith’s older brother Christopher went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 1998. Faith is the proud mother of five exceptional children, Christopher, Mariah, Aryn, Imani, and Makenzee.
Faith accepted Christ at an early age. She remembers being at a Church movie night and watching “Left Behind.” That moment she knew she didn't want to be “Left Behind.”
Faith graduated from Strath Haven High School in 2005. Faith worked for two School Districts in the Food Service Department, where she received her Serve Safe Certificate and became a Certified Instructor and Proctor for Servsafe. As Faith’s passion for serving people grew, she became a Legislative Assistant to a State Representative. In 2021 Faith ran for Mayor in Trainer, PA. Although it was not the outcome she wanted, it was the outcome the Lord wanted. Faith also maintained a schedule for a Congresswoman and was her Outreach Coordinator.
Faith was a member of Ezekiel Baptist Church and served from her childhood until she became a Young Adult. She served on the Youth Usher Board, sang in the choir, and was a faithful member of the Youth Fellowship. Faith has a love and passion for dance. Faith became the Ministry Leader of the Praise Dance Ministry at Ezekiel Baptist Church. Faith also served as the Culinary Ministry Leader. Under her leadership, she helped revamp what is now called, Food Connections Ministry. Faith is now a proud Family member of Second Mt Zion Baptist Church, where the Rev. James Moore Sr. is Pastor.
In 2018, God laid it on Faith’s heart to start Destiny Bound Ministries. Faith wrote and published her first book, “ Walking Into My Destiny with Grace and Beauty” and is currently working on her first Women's Devotional. The mission of Destiny Bound Ministries is “Building women up through the Love of Christ.” The focus scripture is, “ “Blessed is she who believes the Lord will fulfill His promises to her.” Luke 1:45
Faith's life verse is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
